Our inclusive programmes support people in developing practical skills, improving wellbeing, and building social connections. Delivered in small, supportive group settings, each session is designed to be accessible, encouraging, and tailored to meet a range of abilities and needs.

Our Programmes

Cookery Programme | Hotaka Kai

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (Morning and Afternoon)
Cost per class: $5.00 per person
Bookings essential

Fun, supportive cooking classes designed for individuals in the disability sector. Learn practical skills in a welcoming environment, with hands-on cooking and engaging discussions.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Safe use of kitchen tools

  • Food hygiene & storage

  • Budget-friendly meal planning

  • Nutrition and cooking techniques

Our Chef-Tutors adapt tools and methods to support independence, teamwork, and problem-solving. Students help choose what meals to prepare!

Indoor Team Sports | Hotaka Hakinakina

Tuesdays 11:00 am-12.00 pm and 1:00-2.00 pm
Cost per class: $2.00 per person

Get in the Game!

Not too competitive, not too intense—just the perfect mix of teamwork, skill-building, and fun! Whether you're here to spike, kick, rally, or roll, there's a game for everyone.

What’s on Offer?

  • Different team sports every week

  • Table Tennis is always ready for a quick match

  • Board games for a more laid-back vibe

Never played before? No worries! Our facilitator will guide you through the rules, help you develop skills, and keep the good sportsmanship flowing.

Game Schedule (Both Sessions)

  • 1st Tuesday: Volleyball

  • 2nd Tuesday: Badminton

  • 3rd Tuesday: Indoor Soccer

  • 4th Tuesday: Indoor Bowls

  • 5th Tuesday (if applicable): Volleyball again!

Brain Gym Programme | Whakangungu roro

Wednesday 10.30-11.30 am
Cost per class: $2.00 per person

Ready to activate your brain and spark some creativity? Our Brain Gym is a sensory wonderland designed for individuals on the Disability Spectrum, offering a safe and friendly environment filled with activities to engage the mind and senses!

From squishy textures to fun challenges, this session is all about exploration and interaction. Whether you’re shaping sensory balls or diving into tactile treasures, there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Our fabulous facilitator is on hand to lend extra support and encouragement, creating a calm space where participation is gently encouraged—but never rushed.

Each participant is supported by their own Support Worker, who’ll join in the fun, helping them dive into all the activities. It’s a place where connections are made, fun is had, and everyone leaves with a smile.

Art and Crafts Programme | Toi me nga mahi-a-ringa

Wednesday afternoon from 1.00 to 2.00 pm
Cost per class: $2.00 per person

Get creative, get crafty, and let your imagination run wild! Our Art and Craft class is a fun, hands-on session where you can explore different techniques, try new materials, and create something unique to take home each week.

What to Expect:

Our classes are open to everyone, with a special focus on making art accessible and enjoyable for individuals on the disability spectrum. We provide adaptive tools, flexible approaches, and as much or as little support as needed to ensure a fun and rewarding experience for all.

There’s no right or wrong in art—just creativity, fun, and the joy of making something your own. Whether you like structured projects or prefer to explore freely, you’ll leave each session with something special to take home.

Music Expression Programme | Whakaatu Puoro

Friday 10.00-11.00 am and 11.30 am-12.30 pm

Feel the Beat! Not your ordinary music class—this is where creativity meets rhythm! Whether you want to play an instrument, write lyrics, sing, rap, or create beats, this class is all about YOU and your sound.

What’s in the Mix?

  • Try different musical instruments

  • Write and perform your own lyrics

  • Sing, rap, or mix beats your way

  • Develop your own unique sound

Each block of classes runs for 8 weeks, with small class sizes (max 7) for a more personalised experience.

No pressure, no expectations—just good grooves, great music, and a chance to share your passion with the community!
