The Methodist Mission
HMSS was established under the umbrella of the Methodist Church of New Zealand and operates as part of the Church’s social service mission. Registered as a charitable entity on 1 February 2008, under the Charities Act 2005.
We’re proud to stand alongside others in the Methodist Alliance — a collective of Methodist Missions, parishes, and community-based social service providers across Aotearoa, working together to serve and uplift our communities.
